What an evening!
Tri-County Senior Nutrition was honored to host the New Plainsmen Quartet in a fundraiser concert to help raise money for Grayson County Meals on Wheels. The concert featured the Southern Gospel group which is know for its close harmonies, unique arrangements and wonderful audience appeal. The concert was held at the Covenant Church in Sherman on Saturday, December 15th. |

Although the weather did not cooperate, the concert was well attended. Many donations were made to help continue our mission of providing the resources needed to help older citizens to continue living in active independence. The event was very successful and helped raise much needed funds for the program.
We wish to thank all the individuals and business who donated money to help us further our mission. As always, we depend upon the support of our local communities and are very grateful for your continued loyalty to this very important cause. |

The Greater Texoma Association of Realtors conducted their annual food drive for Tri-County Meals on Wheels. The month long event culminated with a luncheon on November 15th. We were blessed with over $5,500 worth of canned and non-perishable food items. It took twenty-four grocery carts donated by Wal-Mart for the day to bring all the food into our warehouse. Volunteers sorted food items and distributed them to all of our sixteen centers throughout Cooke, Fannin and Grayson counties. |

Tri-County Senior Nutrition Project is very grateful to have such community support. We realize that it takes time and coordination to accomplish such a feat. Hats off to all of you who made this possible!! |
